PERFUME WORKSHOP – OPEN GROUP

WHAT TO EXPECT

Join a unique and intimate perfume-making workshop in Amsterdam, and create your own fragrance through an immersive, step-by-step process. Starting with a grounding meditation to set our intention, you’ll be taken on a guided scent journey and be introduced to a curated selection of fragrant materials. You’ll learn how to smell more deeply — noticing how different ingredients behave, and the memories and emotions they evoke in yourself and each other. From there, you’ll begin the hands-on process of composing your own scent. You’ll work with a simple formula and be given the time and space to create something that feels uniquely yours. Leave with your personalised fragrance in a 3ml perfumer’s sample spray, along with your formula in a hand-stamped linen pouch, so that you can revisit, recreate, or evolve your scent over time. If you’d like more, you can upgrade to a larger bottle during the workshop or order one later. A SLOWER WAY TO CREATE More than just a creative activity, the workshop is designed as a mindful sensory escape — a chance to slow down, reconnect with your senses, and enjoy the process of creating in a relaxed, personal way. This isn’t about getting it “right” or making something “perfect.” It’s about learning to trust your nose, develop your own taste, and enjoy the creative process in a way that feels natural and intuitive. Workshops are kept intentionally small to allow for personal guidance and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. No prior experience is needed — only curiosity and a willingness to try. IMPORTANT TO NOTE A minimum of 4 participants is required for a group workshop to take place, as this ensures the best possible experience. If this minimum isn’t met, you will be contacted a few days in advance to reschedule or explore alternative options, such as a private session.
