Our workshops take place in my cosy home studio/lab in the heart of De Pijp in Amsterdam, with occasional pop-ups in other locations around our beautiful city. We also offer private bookings for small gatherings and corporate events at a venue of your choice, for an additional charge.

Yes! Our workshops are relaxed and beginner-friendly, open to anyone curious about scent and perfumery. I personally lead each workshop, and will patiently guide you through every step of the process.

I work with both natural ingredients and high-quality synthetics. While natural materials bring richness and depth to a fragrance, some scent notes—like certain musks and florals—can only be recreated synthetically. Using both allows for greater creativity, stability, and sustainability when designing your perfume. If you have any sensitivities, please let me know before booking so I can accommodate your needs.

You can book directly through our website, scenteredworkshops.com. Spaces are limited, as we intentionally keep group sizes small to encourage connection and personalized attention—so we recommend booking in advance! For an open group workshop, simply pick a date and time that suits you, choose the number of participants, and proceed to checkout. Once your payment is processed, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details. For private workshops, choose your preferred date and time, and I’ll get in touch ASAP to confirm availability before finalising your booking.

Yes! We specialise in corporate events, team-building experiences, and private gatherings. Get in touch to discuss how we can create a customised scent experience for you and your group.

All bookings are non-refundable, but we understand plans change, so you may reschedule up to 48 hours before the workshop start time if needed. Due to our small group size (2–6 participants per session), last-minute rescheduling requests (within 48 hours) cannot be accommodated or refunded. If you’re unable to attend, we encourage you to rebook for a future session. For group workshops, we require a minimum of two participants. If this minimum isn’t met, you’ll be contacted a few days in advance with the option to reschedule or receive a refund.

You can redeem e-gift vouchers when booking online—simply enter your voucher code at checkout. If you received a printout gift voucher, please get in touch directly via scenteredworkshops@gmail.com to redeem.

All materials are provided, so just bring your wonderful selves, and a healthy dose of curiosity and creativity! There's no dress code, so wear whatever you feel comfortable in. To minimise the chance of accidentally knocking over materials while blending your fragrance, we recommend avoiding anything too loose or flowy that drapes over the workspace.

Yes! Solo participants are always welcome. However, group workshops require a minimum of two participants to run. If this minimum isn’t met, you’ll be contacted a few days in advance and offered a different date to reschedule.

If you’re coming by public transport, take the metro to De Pijp station (Ceintuurbaan exit) or trams 3, 5 or 12. There is paid street parking in the surrounding area on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Unfortunately, the main venue is located on the third floor of a typical Dutch house with no lift, making it inaccessible for those with reduced mobility. If you have specific accessibility needs, please reach out before booking—I strive to host pop-ups in more accessible locations whenever possible.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, as the workshop space is small, and other participants may have allergies or sensitivities. However, if you have a service animal, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss how best to accommodate your needs. Thank you for understanding!

Yes. The minimum age is 15 years, since we work with materials that require a lot of focus and care. Safety measures are provided, but younger participants may find the process challenging. That said, you are welcome to get in touch to discuss the possibilities of arranging a private session for you and your children, provided you assume full responsibility for their participation.
